A couple of times a year I manage to join the wood kiln firings organised by Klaudia. The kiln is set in the beautiful surroundings of a summer estate with a pond and garden. The charm of the place helps to highlight the beauty of the vessels when we take photographs of the work. As always, the firing provided us with much excitement and joy. Adding wood to the kiln and reaching temperatures of 1,300 degrees is quite a skill. This art has been perfectly mastered by Maciej Witek.
