Start your adventure with pottery. Join us for basic training in techniques for working with clayand on the potter's wheel.
The training lasts 12 hours.

Training
Adults who start working with clay undergo a mandatory basic training of 12 clock hours.
The cost of the full basic training (techniques and wheel) is 600.00 zł. Fees: payment of 300.00 zł before the training (for the first 6 hours), payment of 300.00 zł before the training on the wheel (for 6 hours). The first 6 hours are devoted to learning basic techniques for making, decorating the work and glazing. The next 6 hours are spent learning the basics of working on the potter's wheel.

Training cost
This price does not include the cost of clay and glazes and firings. These are calculated according to weight.
The cost of clay - 5.50 zł per kilogram
The cost of bisque firing - 25.00 zł per kg of work
Cost of low temperature glaze - 5.00 zł
Cost of firing works glazed with low-temperature glaze - 25.00 zł per kg of works
The cost of high temperature glaze - 7.00 zł
Cost of firing works glazed with high-temperature glaze - 30.00 zł per kg of work

Clay
The clay needed for the training will be purchased in our studio. The minimum purchase of new clay is a 10 kg pack of clay at a basic price of approx. 55.00 zł per pack, or 5 kg of clay at 27.50 zł or higher depending on the type of clay. It is also possible to share the clay purchased with another person. We do not use clay brought in from outside the studio, unless by arrangement

What's next?
After completing the basic training, you are ready to participate independently in the
Hopi House workshops.
You will be bound by the rules as in the independent adult workshops.

Hopi House
Here is where you always feel good
The studio is spacious and comfortable. It can be easily used by up to 30 participants at the time.
It has three large tables (for 10 participants each) and three potter's wheels.
Large windows of the studio overlook the garden.
In nice weather classes can take place on the large terrace.
The studio was designed by the Le2 Workshop run by Lilianna and Jędrzej Lewandowski.
